Our Beauty Club: Event Terms and Conditions

  1. Right of Admission & Safety

1.1 For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission, remove attendees, or request proof of eligibility at its absolute discretion, including where behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, unlawful or inappropriate.

1.2 The Organiser and/or the venue may conduct security checks or searches as required. Refusal to comply may result in denied entry or removal without refund or compensation.

 

  1. Eligibility

2.1 Events are open to individuals aged 18 years or over, unless otherwise expressly stated.

2.2 By entering a competition or registering for an Event, participants confirm they are legally eligible, available to attend on the advertised date(s), and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

 

  1. Entry & Registration

3.1 Entry instructions will be set out in Event communications, social media posts, or ticketing platforms.

3.2 No purchase is necessary unless expressly stated.

3.3 Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, automated, or submitted in breach of these Terms may be disqualified.

 

  1. Tickets, Invitations & Prizes

4.1 Event tickets, invitations or prizes:

  • Are non-transferable
  • Have no cash value
  • May not be exchanged, resold or substituted
  • Are valid only for the named attendee unless otherwise stated

4.2 The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any prize, experience, gift or element of the Event with an item of equal or greater value.

 

  1. Winner Selection & Notification (Where Applicable)

5.1 Winners will be selected at random or as otherwise stated in promotional materials.

5.2 Winners will be notified via direct message or email.

5.3 Winners must respond within 24 hours of notification. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternative winner.

 

  1. Event Changes, Cancellation & Force Majeure

6.1 The Organiser reserves the right to amend, reschedule, alter content, postpone or cancel the Event at any time due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, venue issues, illness, supplier failure, government restrictions, or safety concerns.

6.2 No liability shall arise for such changes, and no refunds or compensation will be payable unless required by law.

 

  1. Photography, Filming & Media Consent

7.1 By attending the Event, you grant the Organiser and its partners an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to photograph, film and record you.

7.2 Such content may be used for marketing, social media, press, PR and promotional purposes in any media now known or later developed, without further notice or compensation.

 

  1. Travel, Personal Property & Liability

8.1 Attendees are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and expenses.

8.2 The Organiser accepts no responsibility for:

  • Travel delays or cancellations
  • Loss, theft or damage to personal property
  • Personal injury or illness

except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

8.3 Attendance is at your own risk. You are responsible for your own health, safety and belongings at all times.

 

  1. Health, Beauty Treatments & Product Use

9.1 Events may include beauty treatments, demonstrations, samples or products provided by third-party brands.

9.2 The Organiser:

  • Does not provide medical or professional advice
  • Accepts no responsibility for adverse reactions, allergies or outcomes

9.3 Attendees must disclose any allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions directly to the relevant brand or practitioner before participation.

 

  1. Exhibitors, Sponsors & Third Parties

10.1 The Organiser is not responsible for:

  • Advice, services or products provided by exhibitors, sponsors or partners
  • Any contracts or arrangements entered into between attendees and third parties

10.2 Any such dealings are solely between the attendee and the third party.

 

  1. Behaviour & Conduct

11.1 Attendees must behave respectfully and lawfully at all times.

11.2 The Organiser reserves the right to remove any individual whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, unsafe or disruptive, without refund or compensation.

 

  1. Goodie Bags, Gifts & Complimentary Services

12.1 Goodie bag contents, values, giveaways and complimentary services:

  • Are subject to availability
  • May change without notice
  • Are not guaranteed

 

  1. Data Protection

13.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws and the Organiser’s Privacy Policy.

13.2 By entering, registering for or attending an Event, participants consent to the Organiser sharing relevant personal data with trusted third-party brands, sponsors, venues and service providers where necessary for the administration, delivery, operation and promotion of the Event, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

 

  1. Social Media Disclaimer

14.1 Any competition or Event promoted via social media is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or any other platform.

14.2 Participants provide information to the Organiser, not the platform.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction. These Terms & Conditions apply to all Our Beauty Club, experiences, competitions and brand partnership events (“Event”) organised by Beauty Beat Event Ltd trading as The Beauty Beat (“The Organiser / Promoter / We / Us”). By registering for, entering, attending or participating in an Event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
