TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: July 2026
Please read these terms and conditions (the “Terms”) carefully before purchasing a ticket or registering for The Beauty Beat 2026. By purchasing a ticket, registering for a free online ticket, or attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. Definitions and Who We Are
1.1 The Event is organised by Beauty Events Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 13721200) whose registered office is at 65 Waterview House, London, E14 7SX (“we”, “us”, “our” or the “Organiser”). You can contact us at hello@thebeautybeat.co.uk.
1.2 In these Terms: the “Event” means The Beauty Beat 2026, taking place at The QEII Centre, Broad Sanctuary, Westminster, London, SW1P 3EE on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November 2026, including any online or virtual element; the “Venue” means the premises at which the Event is held; a “Ticket” means any valid ticket for the Event purchased via Eventbrite, including In-Person tickets and free online tickets; and “Eventbrite” means the ticketing platform through which Tickets are sold, whose own terms of service and privacy policy also apply to your purchase.
2. Tickets and Admission
2.1 Only Tickets purchased or registered via Eventbrite are valid. Tickets obtained from any other source may be refused at our discretion.
2.2 Admission to the Event will not be permitted without a valid Ticket. Tickets are only valid for the date(s) and session shown on the Ticket; they cannot be used to attend a different date or session, including where you were unable to attend your original session.
2.3 Please check your order carefully at the time of purchase, as mistakes cannot always be rectified. If there is an error with your order, contact us as soon as possible at hello@thebeautybeat.co.uk.
2.4 Tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial gain or used for any promotion, competition or commercial purpose without our prior written consent. Any Ticket resold or transferred in breach of this clause may be cancelled without refund. You may give your Ticket to a friend or family member free of charge, provided the attendee details are updated via Eventbrite in advance where requested.
2.5 Free online (virtual) tickets do not permit entry to the live in-person Event and do not include a goodie bag.
2.6 Re-entry to the Venue is permitted only with a valid Event wristband secured around your wrist. Once you relinquish your wristband (including to redeem a goodie bag), you will not be re-admitted to the Event.
2.7 Lost, stolen or damaged tickets or wristbands may not be replaced, and may result in refusal of admission or of a goodie bag.
2.8 Admission is also subject to the Venue’s own terms, conditions and regulations, copies of which are available from the Venue.
3. Refunds, Cancellation and Postponement
3.1 Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except as set out in this Section 3 or where required by law. This includes where you are unable to attend, arrive late, or leave early.
3.2 If we cancel the Event (meaning the Event will not take place and will not be rescheduled), you will be entitled to a refund of the face value of your Ticket. Refunds will be processed via Eventbrite to your original payment method.
3.3 If the Event is postponed, your Ticket will remain valid for the rescheduled date. If we do not announce a rescheduled date within 90 days of the postponement, or if you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund of the face value of your Ticket via Eventbrite.
3.4 Booking, processing and ticketing fees charged by Eventbrite are subject to Eventbrite’s own refund policies and may not be refundable except where the Event is cancelled.
3.5 Except where set out in clause 12.1, we will not be liable for any travel, accommodation or other costs or losses you incur in connection with a cancelled, postponed or altered Event beyond the face value of your Ticket.
4. Changes to the Event and Force Majeure
4.1 The Event programme, including speakers, stage times, sessions, masterclasses, workshops, exhibitors, brands, treatments and goodie bag contents, is subject to change at any time. Changes to the published programme or line-up do not entitle you to a refund, provided the Event as a whole still goes ahead.
4.2 We reserve the right to alter or vary the content, timing, format or venue of the whole or any part of the Event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) adverse weather, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, industrial action, acts or threats of terrorism, civil disorder, failure of the Venue or of utilities, or the requirements of any government or other competent authority (a “Force Majeure Event”).
4.3 If the Event is cancelled or postponed as a result of a Force Majeure Event, your remedy is as set out in Section 3. We will not otherwise be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by a Force Majeure Event.
5. Safety, Security, Conduct and Right of Removal
5.1 For the safety of all attendees, we and the Venue reserve the right to refuse admission to any person, and to conduct security searches of persons, bags and belongings on entry, on re-entry and within the Venue. Refusal to consent to a search may result in refusal of admission without refund.
5.2 The following are not permitted at the Event: illegal substances; weapons or any item that we or the Venue consider may be used to cause harm; alcohol purchased outside the Venue; professional photography, audio or video recording equipment (without our prior written consent); and any item prohibited by the Venue.
5.3 You must comply with all reasonable instructions of our staff, the Venue’s staff and security personnel while at the Event.
5.4 We reserve the right to refuse admission to, or to remove from the Event without refund, any person who: is or appears to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs; behaves in a manner that is aggressive, abusive, discriminatory or harassing towards any attendee, exhibitor, speaker or member of staff; causes or threatens damage to property; breaches these Terms or the Venue’s regulations; or otherwise behaves in a manner that we reasonably consider poses a risk to the safety, security or enjoyment of others.
5.5 Where alcoholic drinks are served at the Event, they will only be served to persons aged 18 or over. Proof of age may be required under the Challenge 25 policy, and service may be refused at the discretion of bar staff.
6. Age Policy
6.1 The Event is strictly for persons aged 16 and over. No children or babies will be admitted under any circumstances, and prams and buggies are not permitted at the Venue. Proof of age may be requested, and admission may be refused without refund where age cannot be verified.
6.2 Certain treatments, services or product samples may carry minimum age requirements set by the relevant brand or practitioner (for example, treatments may not be available to persons under under 18 without parental consent). Brands and practitioners may refuse to provide a treatment or sample where age cannot be verified.
7. Health, Treatments, Allergies and Product Use
7.1 Complimentary treatments and services at the Event (including, without limitation, manicures, hand massages and similar beauty services) are provided by third-party brands, exhibitors and practitioners, not by us. Any treatment you choose to receive is a matter between you and the relevant provider, and you accept such treatments at your own election and risk, subject to clause 12.1.
7.2 It is your responsibility to inform any treatment provider of any allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, pregnancy or other medical considerations before receiving a treatment, and to decline any treatment that may be unsuitable for you. If in doubt, please consult a medical professional before attending.
7.3 Products contained in goodie bags, samples and giveaways are manufactured and supplied by third-party brands and may contain allergens or ingredients unsuitable for certain individuals. Please check the ingredients and instructions of any product before use and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Subject to clause 12.1, we are not responsible for any reaction to, or any defect in, products supplied by third parties; your statutory rights against the relevant manufacturer or supplier are unaffected.
7.4 The Event may feature loud music, amplified sound, and flashing or strobe lighting effects.
7.5 If you have any access requirements or other specific requirements for attending the Event, please contact us in advance at hello@thebeautybeat.co.uk and we will do our best to accommodate you.
8. Goodie Bags
8.1 Every In-Person Ticket includes one goodie bag per Ticket. Free online (virtual) tickets do not include a goodie bag.
8.2 A valid In-Person Ticket and/or Event wristband must be presented in order to collect your goodie bag. Lost Tickets or wristbands may result in a goodie bag not being provided.
8.3 Goodie bags must be collected in person during the opening hours of the session for which your Ticket is valid. We are unable to send, post or hold uncollected goodie bags, and no refund or substitute will be offered for goodie bags not collected at the Event.
8.4 Goodie bag contents and their advertised values are indicative only and are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to substitute any previously advertised product with a product of broadly equivalent value. Not all goodie bags will contain exactly the same products. Goodie bag contents have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products, and may not be resold.
8.5 If, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to provide a goodie bag to a holder of a valid In-Person Ticket who attends the Event and requests one, we will refund £25 per affected Ticket, representing the goodie bag element of the Ticket price.
9. Stage Talks and Complimentary Services
9.1 The stage talk auditorium has a maximum capacity of 700 people. Access to stage talks, masterclasses and workshops is on a first-come, first-served basis; seats cannot be reserved; and your Ticket does not guarantee access to any particular talk, session or seat.
9.2 All giveaways, gifts and complimentary services (including, without limitation, complimentary drinks, manicures, hand massages, workshops and other treatments, services and giveaways) are subject to availability while stocks or capacity last. Your Ticket does not guarantee access to any complimentary product or service.
10. Filming, Photography and Recording
10.1 The Event will be photographed, filmed and recorded for broadcast, marketing, promotional, archival and security purposes. By attending the Event you consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded as a member of the audience, and to our use of any resulting images, footage and recordings featuring your appearance, voice and likeness, in any media worldwide and without payment, for the purposes of promoting, reporting on and archiving the Event and future events.
10.2 Filming and photography will take place throughout the Venue, and signage to this effect will be displayed at the Event. Given the nature and scale of the Event, it is not possible to guarantee that any individual attendee will not appear in photography, footage or recordings, and by attending you accept that you may do so. CCTV and security recording operates throughout the Venue at all times for the purposes of crowd safety and security.
10.3 Attendees may take personal, non-commercial photographs and videos at the Event unless signage or staff indicate otherwise. Professional recording equipment is not permitted without our prior written consent, and any commercial use of images or recordings taken at the Event is prohibited without our prior written consent.
11. Data Protection and Marketing Communications
11.1 We process personal data you provide when purchasing a Ticket or attending the Event (such as your name, contact details and order information) in accordance with UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy, available at https://thebeautybeat.co.uk/privacy-policy/. Eventbrite also processes your data as described in its own privacy policy.
11.2 We will use your contact details to send you essential information about the Event you have booked (such as entry instructions, programme updates and any cancellation or postponement notices).
11.3 Where you purchase a Ticket or register for the Event, we may use your contact details to send you marketing communications about The Beauty Beat and similar events, products and services that we offer. You can opt out of receiving these at any time, free of charge, by following the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at hello@thebeautybeat.co.uk, and every marketing email we send will include an unsubscribe link. Opting out of marketing does not affect your Ticket or our service messages about the Event. We will not share your contact details with our brand partners or any other third party for their own marketing purposes unless you have separately opted in to receive their communications (for example, via a sign-up on our website or at the Event).
12. Our Liability to You
12.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12.2 Subject to clause 12.1, our total liability to you in connection with your Ticket and the Event, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the face value of the Ticket(s) purchased by you.
12.3 Subject to clause 12.1, we are not responsible for: any loss, theft of, or damage to personal property brought to the Event; any loss or liability you incur as a result of contracts entered into between you and any exhibitor or brand at the Event, or advice, products, treatments or services obtained from any exhibitor or brand; or any loss that is not a foreseeable result of our breaching these Terms.
12.4 Exhibitors, brands and practitioners at the Event are independent of us, and we make no representation or warranty as to the quality or suitability of their products, treatments, services or advice. Any complaint regarding a third-party product or service should be addressed to the relevant supplier, although we would also welcome your feedback at hello@thebeautybeat.co.uk.
13. General
13.1 We may make reasonable changes to these Terms at any time. The version of the Terms in force at the time of your purchase or registration applies to your booking, and material changes affecting existing ticket holders will be notified via the contact details provided at the time of booking.
13.2 If any provision of these Terms is found by a court to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or, if it cannot be modified, deleted, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
13.3 These Terms, together with your Eventbrite order confirmation, the Eventbrite terms of service and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your attendance at the Event.
13.4 A failure or delay by us to enforce any provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.
13.5 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with them. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
